We are committed to helping our clients gain employment. Whether its support with building resumes, completing job applications, or searching for employment online, we have the capacity to do it. We offer group classes and one-on-one employment skills training at both CFG campuses and partner sites throughout the community.
We offer several digital literacy skills training courses where students can earn certifications or college credit through a partnerships with Metropolitan Community College and Northstar Digital Literacy Assessment. We have also launched Connecting to Careers, pictured to the right, a 16-week Cisco Networking course designed to gain valuable entry-level technical skills, and upon completion, the CompTIA A+ certification.
Our Computer Refurbishing Program creates jobs, internship, and volunteer opportunities in the urban core for a chance to learn very marketable technical skills that can lead to employment in this field. We also partner with workforce development initiatives like Hire KC Youth and Kauffman Scholars, pictured to the right.
