No nonprofit is successful when they work on their own. The article’s author, Caitlin Fairchild, included Connecting For Good as a fellow leader in the mission for full digital inclusion. In the article she provides several reasons as to why it is imperative now to be fully integrated with today’s communication and educational technology.
She cites that access to technology “impacts everything” in a person’s daily life. From a child needing a computer to complete homework, to a senior citizen needing technology to keep in touch with their doctors, technological resources are no longer a luxury, they are a necessity. She mentions that it is not enough to have a device if a person does not know how to utilize it.
